What Did I Do Today?

I love productive days, and I will honestly admit that some days are more productive than others.  Okay, really, some days are completely unproductive, but today was not one of them.  I started to put together an Emergency Binder for our family.  It is something I (we all) should have done years ago, and something we all think we will never need.  So my challenge to you is to start yours as well.  I made one of these for all my kids (and will add Greg and mine to it too).

Take a q-tip and rub it on the inside of their mouth, let it dry 24 hours and then place it in a ziplock baggie for their DNA sample, attach it to this sheet.
I will also be gathering all of our important papers and keeping them under lock and key, but handy to grab in case of emergency. This summer my goal is to feel as prepared as I financially can be. There are so many good ideas out there! I will try to remember to add mine here for you too.

Alright so that isn't all I accomplished, but laying out in the sun reading a book, finishing up The Glades season 1 just doesn't sound very good when discussing productivity (although I put them on my to-do list and crossed them off when I was done).

Food for Thought...

"First, educate your hands and your minds. You belong to a church which espouses education...Get all the education you can. Train yourselves to make a contribution to the society in which you will live. There is an essence of the divine in the improvement of the mind."
