...since there really wasn't much to these, but I just wanted to point out how much you can save by doing it yourself. My kids LOVE McDonalds as I am sure most of yours do to. So today we are eating McDonalds my style for dinner. On average when we go we spend about $25 for dinner. By cooking our own happy meals we get more food we save and with the right packaging the kids LOVED it just as much!
1 order of french fries cost $0.11
1 order of chicken nuggets cost $0.59
1 apple cost $0.38
1 juice box was free because I had a coupon for it
3 oreos for dessert cost $0.17

1.25 for 1 happy meal x 4 = $5
Greg and I don't love McD at all but every now and again even we are good sports and by making our own food not only do we enjoy it more but again it saves lots of $$. Greg's meal cost $2.12 and my home made meal cost$2.80 making our total cost under $10 AMAZING right?!
