Jacey Is Cool...

...and I am not just saying that! She has really missed art class this Summer, but with her other duties and responsibilities she has been a good sport about it. I have been trying to encourage her (read: let her) get out my acrylic paints (I only have red, yellow, blue, white and black-what more do you need right?!) during quiet time and I am amazed at what she has done. I think she is actually pushing herself more than she did in class. These were free drawn-no tracing- and then the one was painted...amazing right?!

This is what they have been working on in school. Jacey brought it home to finish today and I thought I better blog it since I don't often see her art work from school come back home.

Fridge Art...

...Jacey is still LOVING her art class and is doing some pretty awesome stuff. It is the highlight of our week. She loves going and I love seeing her talent. Here are some of her stuff from the last couple of weeks.

Fridge Art...

...although I think there will be so much of it this summer we will have to hang it on her wall. Jacey is taking an art class this summer, every Thursday from 9-12 and absolutely loves it! Loves it so much that we came home from Utah so she wouldn't have to miss it and we will go back to Utah tomorrow. I am just excited for her, I love seeing what her little creative mind comes up with. Here are last week and this weeks projects...(oh and only her favorite 5)

Fridge Art...

...gotta love a fridge full kids art. My kids go through a small forest every month and I hate to throw them away, but there is NO WAY I can keep them all so let me introduce a new tag to this blog...fridge art...although I really need to figure out how to scan it so the back side doesn't come through too. (dang these high powered scanners)

Jacey's again she claims that when she was 2 she learned the pattern that Easter eggs are supposed to be decorated and so all her eggs are always decorated with the same pattern.
